POOCH PORTRAIT SESSIONS
HOW I WORK:
My approach to photographing dogs is much like how I work with people, since they are, well, almost human! Tapping into that emotional connection is what makes a portrait come to life. Some dogs are well-behaved and enjoy the experience, while others require a little coaxing with treats and squeaky toys. For those overly excited pups who aren’t in the mood to cooperate, I embrace the challenge and go for the action shots, which can be incredibly expressive. Each session is an opportunity to celebrate your dog’s individuality and create lasting memories. I look forward to working with you to capture the true spirit of your cherished pet!
WHERE I WORK:
I work exclusively in Marin County, California, known for its beautiful natural scenery. Sessions are available only on location. Since much of my time is devoted to philanthropic projects for pet-related causes, I offer a limited number of private sessions each month. I’m now booking for June 2025. To schedule a session, please complete and submit the form below and I'll contact you to discuss details and availability.
PRICING:
Sessions are $500. and may include up to two pets and two people, usually lasting about an hour. A phone consultation for planning, the shoot itself and a collection of online proofs are included in the session fee. Prints are available for purchase in packages that start at $500. or individually.
My photography agreement includes a model release, granting permission for the use of images for commercial purposes, including but not limited to marketing, advertising, promotional materials, and the sale of products such as prints or greeting cards. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these items will be donated to Chloe's Cause, a charitable fund established in honor of my dog that supports the Comparative Oncology Program at UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Center.
FUNDRAISING EVENTS:
If you're organizing a fundraiser for a pet-related charity and could use my services, please feel free to contact me via email, lynda@beyondspiritdog.com. I’m always happy to help when my schedule permits. I offer my services at no charge for pet-related charity fundraisers.
A portion of the proceeds from portrait sessions, a minimum of 20%, will be donated to Chloe's Cause, a charitable fund in honor of my dog to support the Comparative Oncology Program at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
